A spot  of shot put is what Mr Sausage is doing today. But because he is a sausage he can only really throw peas because the normal shot put i s far too heavy!

Today Mr Sausage is taking part in the floor gymnastics. He doesn't really have any bones so this makes him ultra flexible and the right man for the task.

Mr Sausage has taken part in the kayaking race. But now he is a very soggy sausage.

Mr Sausage has taken part in the freestyle swimming he really enjoyed swimming today even if it wasn't the best weather.

Today Mr Sausage has taken part in the 400m run he did quite well and came 2nd which won him a bronze medal.

Today Mr Sausage is getting into the spirits of things and taking part in the sausage olympics.

He will be competing in lots of events.

Mr Sausage had a bad day yesterday being chased by dogs all day. So last night he went out to let off some steam. He is also celebrating the fact that he is going to be taking part in the sausage olympics which starts tomorrow!!!!!

Today due to Mr Sausage being slightly cooked yesterday he now has a number of canine fans.

Today because it is lovely outside Mr Sausage is sun bathing but he will have to be careful because at the end of the day he is a sausage and if he is out for too long he may get cooked!!

This is my character Mr Sausage. Each day I will update my blog with what ever he gets up to. Who knows what he will do.

Jelly London Internship

A couple of weeks ago I interned at Jelly London and I loved every minute there. I got given old briefs to do which I really enjoyed doing.
These are my finished images for my first brief I had to produce five forfeit cards for children. For example there was the sock sniffer card I had to produce characters which I found interesting to create.

Then for my second brief I had to create a group collage of the agents and illustrators in Jelly London. I found this one harder because it involved drawing people but I tackled the situation by drawing them in my style. Overall I had a fantastic experience there! : )

My London bus

 I have painted a picture of a London Bus. I wanted to paint one since I saw one in a shop on sale for £100 so I thought I would paint my own.

I used acrylic paint and ink I also used paint pens and tippex.

I enjoyed painting it and am looking forward to putting it up in my room : )

These are the different stages of my painting I used a roller to put the initial colour down then I worked into it using inks and paint pens.

My Monster Book: 6 Words Project

These are some pages from my monster book for my final Uni project of my first year. I really enjoyed this project and it would definitely be something I would have set myself. I have made it into a proper book on the blurb website so look forward to getting that through the post soon : )

Anteater

This is a needle felted anteater I made. I like working in different and new ways because I find it interesting, because it's not everyday you make a needle felted ant eater : )

Pots of Art

This is a tile that I painted at "Pots of Art" in St. Albans I really enjoyed painting it. The man who runs the shop liked it so much he offered me a job there :)

The Scribble Project

This is a piece that I have sent into the scribble project which hopefully will be put up on the blog. I really enjoyed drawing it and would definitely recommend for people to do the same!!!

Moby Dick

For the Penguin book cover assignment at uni. We had to illustrate the book cover for Moby Dick.

I used a mixture of media for the background with ripped card. I drew and painted Moby Dick separately. I then overlaid the coloured ink splats using photo shop.

Training day

 

 This is the "Training Day" assignment I had to produce an article for trainers and try and sell them.
The image at the top of the page is the final image that I used to show off the trainers.
To draw the trainers I used a mixture of having initial sketches of the trainers drawn with a dip pen and different coloured inks. I then photocopied those images outlined them and coloured them in using markers.
I also really like typography so I tried to incorporate this in my final with one of the shoes laces making the words "Nike High Tops" and the title also being on the white trainer in the top image.

Vegetables and Alphabets

 This drawings or the fruit were for a an assignment brief of Five a Day. I drew and painted them using inks and other mediums.
I also photocopied some of them images and went over the top of those with pencils and oil pastels.

 These images were for an alphabet book that I have produced I am planning to develop it and create  it professionally.
I tend to work in water colours and then outline my illustrations.
